Hibiscus Summertime Dream
Ingredients:
-
1 ½ ounce Gin, Vodka, or Tequila (pick your poison, we won’t judge!)
-
1 to 2 tablespoons Agave Syrup or Honey
-
3 ounces fresh orange juice
-
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
-
⅓ cup of cold brewed Hawaiian Cocktail
-
Optional, to make this a mocktail replace the gin with a fizzy drink like soda water or even sprite
-
Orange slice for garnish
Directions:
-
Take 1 cup of cold water and steep the Hawaiian Cocktail tea for about 5 to 7 minutes. You can steep it longer if you’d like a stronger flavor profile.
-
In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine your liquor of choice, sweetener, orange juice, and lemon juice.
-
Shake well and strain into a cocktail glass filled with ice. Top with the cold brewed Hawaiian Cocktail tea.
-
Garnish with an orange slice and enjoy!
-
To make this into a mocktail, omit the liquor from the second step and top off the drink with your fizzy drink of choice after adding in the cold brewed Hawaiian Cocktail.
Try Today’s Tea
This tropical fusion is inspired by the vivacious South Pacific spirit of Hawaii. A blend of pineapple, papaya, orange, mango, raisins, rosehips and hibiscus steeps to a beautiful red. Best enjoyed hot or with ice, this cocktail refreshes in an island-style.
