Chado Tea Health and Wellness: Hawaiian Cocktail Iced Tea Lattes
We’re kicking off summer here at Chado Tea, which has us thinking about a cold glass of iced tea. Today we found the perfect recipe to kickstart the summer season, a Hibiscus Strawberry Iced Tea Latte! Using our popular herbal blend named Hawaiian Cocktail, this iced latte is the perfect drink to enjoy by the pool or on the beach with family and friends.
Hibiscus Strawberry Iced Tea Latte
Makes - 6 to 8 drinks
Ingredients:Â

4 tablespoons Hawaiian Cocktail

2 tablespoons Chado Special Green
-
2 cups boiling water
-
¾ to 1 cup sugar or sweetener of choice

8 large strawberries
-
Coconut milk
-
Sliced strawberries, garnish
Directions:

In a jug, add in the sugar/sweetener, Hawaiian Cocktail and Chado Special Green. Allow to steep for 5 to 10 minutes to create a strong tasting concentrate. Once steeped to your liking, strain out the loose leaf tea.

In a blender or food processor, puree the 8 large strawberries. Once pureed, add the strawberries into the tea concentrate.

In tall highball glasses, add in ice and about 1 to 2 ounces of the tea and strawberry concentrate. You can add more if you prefer a stronger taste.

Top with the coconut milk and with a few slices of strawberries. Enjoy!
