Our Peppermint Bark Winter Hot Chocolate is a simple yet indulgent twist on a classic, made extra special with our signature Peppermint Bark Tea. This Chado exclusive blend combines together peppermint, green rooibos, and chocolate, creating a soothing herbal treat perfectly suited for the winter months.
By steeping the tea directly in warm milk, this recipe creates a creamy, mint forward base with subtle notes of green rooibos and chocolate. Melted white chocolate adds richness, while vanilla and a splash of peppermint schnapps bring everything together with a smooth, warming finish.
Served warm and topped with mini marshmallows, this drink is perfect for slow evenings, after dinner sipping, or moments of calm during the winter months. It is cozy, refined, and just indulgent enough to feel like a small luxury.
Peppermint Bark Winter Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:

2 cups milk, of your choice

2 teaspoons Peppermint Bark Tea

½ cup White Chocolate

1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

1 shot Peppermint Schnapps
Directions:

Add 2 cups of milk of your choosing to a pot over medium high heat, allow to come to a slow boil.

Next add in 2 teaspoons of Peppermint Bark tea, allow to steep in the milk for 5 minutes and agitate the tea to help infuse the flavor, once steeped remove tea from milk

Add in 1/2 cup of white chocolate and stir until melted.

Add in 1 teaspoon of vanilla and 1 shot of peppermint schnapps, stir until well combined.

Serve in a glass or mug and garnish with mini marshmallows.
Quick Note: To make this kid friendly, remove the addition of the Peppermint Schnapps.
