Behind the Bar with Chado: Mulling Over Darjeeling Thanksgiving Tea Cocktail

As the leaves turn golden and the air grows crisp, there’s nothing better than a warm, spiced drink to usher in the season. Enter our Mulling Over Darjeeling, a fall tea cocktail that celebrates the season with every sip. The Margaret’s Hope Autumnal Darjeeling featured in this drink is harvested during the months of October and November, bringing bright, malty notes that pair beautifully with the rich spice of our signature Mulling Spice. Whether you’re gathered around the table or enjoying a quiet moment by the fire, this fall inspired tea cocktail is the perfect way to toast Thanksgiving. 


Mulling Over Darjeeling

Ingredients:

  • 3 ounces Mulling Spice Infused Tea

  • Honey, to taste

  • 1 ounce Cinnamon Whiskey

  • Vanilla Simple Syrup, to taste

  • Dash of Cinnamon

  • Cinnamon Stick, garnish 


Directions:

  1. Combine together Chado’s Mulling Spice and Margaret’s Hope Autumnal Darjeeling and steep for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on strength preference. Once steeped, sweeten with honey and allow to cool.

  2. In a glass with ice, add in your tea, cinnamon whiskey, vanilla simple syrup, and dash of cinnamon. Stir until combined.

  3. Strain into a festive cozy glass, garnish with a cinnamon stick, and enjoy!
