Best Rooibos Tea Face Mask

Best Rooibos Tea Face Mask

For the last installment in our tea and beauty blog series we are highlighting the powerful antioxidant rich Rooibos tea. Rooibos tea contains rare antioxidants like aspalathin and nothofagin, both of which are great for their anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-fungal, and anti-bacterial properties. Making any face mask with Rooibos a great option for people who deal with acne flare ups!

Another benefit of using Rooibos is for it’s wrinkle-fighting capabilities. Due to the antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase found in Rooibos, face masks with this tea can help protect against free radicals. Free radicals are unstable atoms found on the skin's surface that can cause skin cell damage leading to wrinkles and early signs of aging. Utilizing Rooibos has the potential to help increase cell turnover and slow down the signs of aging and wrinkles. Due to these benefits, Rooibos is highly recommended for those with either dry skin or those suffering with signs of premature aging.
